Why this matters
Friendships shift.
That’s not a personal failure. It’s a natural part of growth.
What creates confusion and pain isn’t the shift itself.
It’s how most of us were never taught to navigate it.
When something feels off, people tend to:
-
Ignore it and hope it resolves itself
-
Over-accommodate and override their own needs
-
Quietly pull away without clarity
-
Or react impulsively when tension builds
None of these lead to ease, honesty, or trust.
Over time, they create stress—for you and for the relationship.
This workshop exists because friendship transitions require skills, not guesswork.
If this sounds familiar, this space is for you
You might be here because:
-
A friendship feels different and you don’t know what to do with that
-
You’re outgrowing certain dynamics and feel conflicted or guilty
-
You want to be more intentional about who you invest in now
-
You care about navigating change with respect and integrity
-
You don’t want to burn bridges—or disappear quietly
This isn’t about cutting people off.
It’s about learning how to evolve relationships consciously.
What you’ll walk away with
By the end of our time together, you’ll have:
-
A clear framework for understanding why friendships shift
-
Language to name misalignment without blame or defensiveness
-
Tools to reduce guilt, overthinking, and emotional reactivity
-
Insight into what you actually need in this season of life
-
Options for what comes next: deepen, renegotiate, create space, or lovingly loosen
-
More self-trust and less internal tension
This is practical, grounded work you can apply immediately.

What we’ll do together
This is a 2-hour guided experience blending teaching, reflection, and dialogue.
Flow:
-
Context and grounding: why friendship shifts are normal and why they feel hard
-
Framework: common types of friendship transitions and what each one requires
-
Clarity prompts: understanding what’s actually happening in your situation
-
Skills: mindset, emotional intelligence, and communication tools to reduce reactivity
-
Live Q&A and coaching with significant space
-
Integration: choosing an aligned next step
You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you like. Listening quietly is welcome.
The real gap this addresses
Most people don’t struggle with friendship shifts because they don’t care.
They struggle because they don’t have:
-
A mindset that normalizes change instead of personalizing it
-
Emotional awareness for what’s happening beneath the surface
-
Communication skills for navigating transitions with care
When those skills are missing, even well-intentioned conversations can create unnecessary stress or rupture.
When they’re present, transitions become cleaner, kinder, and far less draining.

About your guide
Hi, I’m Lisa Kalfus, aka "The Connection Alchemist".
As a certified Human Connection Facilitator and Conversation Coach, I help people navigate relationships with more clarity, emotional intelligence, and intention—especially during moments of transition.
I’ve guided thousands of people through conversations and connection experiences focused on strengthening relationships as life evolves.
I work with individuals and communities who care deeply about their friendships but were never taught how to adapt them as their needs, values, and seasons change.
What I see consistently is this:
Most people don’t struggle with friendship shifts because they don’t care.
They struggle because they don’t have a framework.
My work focuses on giving people the mindset, frameworks, and communication skills to evolve relationships intentionally instead of avoiding them or reacting impulsively, so transitions can be navigated with honesty, care, and self-trust.
"I use the strategies I learned from Lisa's sessions and I created the deepest friendships. These are skills I didn't realize I needed, and have made a huge difference not only in my friendships, but also my family and work relationships."
Â
Franka, Entrepreneur
"At first I was skeptical, but during the live practice session, I felt everything shift. I realize how I was maintaining friendships out of convenience and that didn't align to how I enjoy spending my time. Thank you Lisa, for helping me gain the confidence to make important shifts that change everything."
